New Features

  • Added mistral::action_providers and mistral::legacy_action_providers classes to configure the [action_providers] and [legacy_action_providers] configuration groups in Mistral.

  • The new mistral::executor::type parameter has been added.

  • The mistral::notifier class now installs and configures the dedicated mistral-notifier service.

  • The mistral class now has two new parameters rabbit_use_queue_manager and rabbit_stream_fanout.

  • The mistral::keystone::auth class now adds the service role by default. Set the roles parameter not to add the role.

  • A new class mistral::wsgi::wsgi exists to allow configuring uwsgi in operating systems that support this (ie: currently Debian). This helps configuring the number of processes, threads and listen socket. Also, a new mistral_api_uwsgi_config provider now exist.

Upgrade Notes

  • The mistral::coordination class has been removed.

  • Puppet 7 is no longer supported. Use Puppet 8 instead.

  • The mistral::rabbit_heartbeat_in_pthread parameter has been removed.

  • The mistral::logging::watch_log_file parameter has been removed.
